frequently asked questions
how much does this actually cost?
it depends on scope, which is exactly why we don't quote a flat number for everyone. packages start from £375 and are priced around time spent on the job, so you're never paying for anything you don't need. brief your project or get in touch and we'll give you a proper figure.
how is socialogy different from hiring a freelancer?
you get two people with real agency and in-house experience, not one person juggling every discipline. between us we cover strategy, branding, websites, social and email properly, rather than one generalist doing a bit of everything at a lower standard.
who actually works on my project?
us, directly. there's no account manager relaying things back to a wider team you never speak to. you deal with the two of us from the first call through to delivery.
do i need to sign a long-term contract?
no. one-off projects are just that, one-off. rolling services like social media management can be cancelled any time, no notice period, no tie-in.
can i hire you for just one thing, like a website or paid ads?
yes. our packages are a starting point, not a bundle you have to take in full. tell us what you actually need and we'll scope around that alone.
what if my project changes scope partway through?
we'll quote any extra work separately before starting it, so you always know what you're paying for and why. no surprise invoices, no scope creep you didn't agree to.
is my deposit safe if i change my mind?
if you cancel before we've started work, you get a full refund. once we're underway, the deposit covers the time and scoping already committed, but you'll always know exactly where that line is before you pay it.
i don't know exactly what i need yet, is that a problem?
not at all, that's normal. just get in touch and tell us where things stand, we'll help you work out what actually needs solving first.
how quickly can we get started?
we reply within 24 to 48 hours of first contact, and once scope and fee are agreed, we get straight to work. no lengthy onboarding, no waiting on an account manager to loop back to you.
will you show our work off publicly?
not without asking first. we'll always check with you before using any work as a case study, in our portfolio, or anywhere else public facing. if you'd rather keep the arrangement completely private, that's absolutely fine, no discussion needed and no pressure to feature.
