socialogy is a uk-based marketing agency. we help businesses with strategy, branding, websites, social media management, email marketing, print, and one-to-one strategy consultations.

payment information (such as billing name and email) if you purchase a service directly through us. we do not store or process your card details ourselves, this is handled securely by our payment processor, stripe. see clause 5 for more on stripe.
booking information (name, email, and the details you provide about what you'd like to discuss) if you book a consultation through our scheduling tools.
business information (company name, website, social media handles) if you engage us as a client.
technical data (ip address, browser type, device information) via cookies and analytics.
usage data (pages visited, time spent on site).

stripe, our payment processor, to handle card payments securely. stripe processes and stores your payment details directly, we do not have access to your full card information.

platforms used to deliver services (such as meta business suite and canva), where relevant to a specific client project.
regulatory or law enforcement authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
all third parties are required to keep your data secure and use it only for agreed purposes.
some of the third parties listed above (including stripe and google) are based outside the uk and european economic area, principally in the united states. where this is the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your data in line with uk gdpr requirements.6. cookies and analytics

we do not currently use advertising or tracking pixels (such as a meta pixel) on our website.

we use secure systems, strong passwords, and encryption where possible to keep your data safe. payment information is handled directly by stripe, in accordance with their own security standards, and is not stored on our own systems.
8. how long we keep your data
we keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. financial and invoicing records are retained for a minimum of 6 years, in line with hmrc requirements. enquiry and booking details not connected to a paid engagement are typically retained for no longer than 24 months.

withdraw consent at any time, where applicable.
